Eastern's Commitment to Service

Service is one of the most important ways we can connect with our communities. On Saturday, April 21, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Panther Service Day with more than 600 students getting involved in community service projects both locally and in other communities.

I am proud of our students who participate in not only Panther Service Day, but also in community service throughout the year. So far this year, our students have exceeded 100,000 hours of service!

To learn more about the many other ways EIU students are getting involved in community service, make sure you check out our Student Community Service website!
