The Distinguished Political Science Alumni Award
Robert F. Glover (B.A., 1982) was the inaugural recipient of the Distinguished Political Science Alumni Award. The award was established to honor graduates who have distinguished themselves in their careers, particularly in the areas of public service, education and politics. Mr. Glover is shown above (left) receiving the award at the Political Science Department’s Student Awards and Recognition Banquet in April 2008. Following the inauguration of this important award, the Political Science Department has had the opportunity and pleasure to recognize other PLS alumni with equally impressive and distinguished careers following their graduation from Eastern Illinois University:
