Transfer Leadership Institute
The Transfer Leadership Institute is a eight week program designed to challenge you to grow, both personally and professionally, through interactive activities and discussions. These weekly sessions are designed to cultivate advance leadership skills and sharpen your current skill set. The program will focus on developing both individual proficiencies and group dynamics expertise allowing you to cultivate your own leadership style.
In addition, the Institute will help you connect to campus by introducing you to organizations, activities, experiences, and leadership positions that will help you polish your personal resume. The Institute will link you to leaders at EIU and in our local community. Finally, the Institute will be a resource for you throughout your time at EIU, providing support and guidance in a variety of ways.
New Student Programs will be offering the Transfer Leadership Institute during the fall semester.
Session: Tuesday, September 10th - Tuesday, November 12th
4:00-6:00pm
Goals and Objectives:
- To teach basic leadership skills.
- To connect students to EIU and provide opportunities for students to become involved on campus.
- To help students become successful academically and personally.
- To provide opportunities for community participation.
