*Guaranteed Tuition Rate Plan
Effective Fall 2004, a new tuition policy for
freshmen and transfer students was implemented. This policy known
as the Guaranteed Tuition
Rate Plan, maintains your first-year tuition rate at EIU for four
continuous academic years and helps students and families plan for
meeting the expenses of going to college. The Guaranteed Tuition
Rate Plan applies to tuition only and does not cover fees, room

Need help paying for college?
Students apply for state and federal aid
by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
www.fafsa.ed.gov.
By completing the FAFSA, you will be considered for state and
federal programs including federal work-study and student loans.
Eastern's priority deadline for filing is March 15.
