Overview

Students who satisfactorily complete the two-year Pre-Engineering program or the three-year B.S. in Engineering program are well prepared to transfer to an engineering school where they may complete their engineering studies in approximately two more years. The B.S. in Engineering program is a cooperative degree program between Eastern Illinois University and either the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign or Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. Students who complete this program earn two degrees, one from EIU and one from UIUC or SIUC.
