The Teacher Education minor in Health is focused on meeting the needs of 9-12 students in the areas of interpersonal relationships, physical activity, diet, mental/emotional health, human sexuality, and drug use and abuse. Students will be engaged in hands on learning experiences such as implementing a school health fair in a public school setting. Faculty that teach in this area have extensive school health backgrounds and are engaged in practical research activities directed at identifying the needs of school health teachers.
