Create a New Account

IMPORTANT:

• You must create your account while on campus within EIU’s authorized IP range.
  (This includes most buildings on campus and the wifi network.)
• Off-campus faculty, staff, and students select the link on the left for account creation.
• Once your account is created, you can access the training from any internet connection.
• Your user name MUST be your EIU email address.

Follow the directions below to create your new lynda.com account

1. From a computer on the EIU network, go to http://iplogin.lynda.com.
2. Select "Create a Profile."
3. Enter your EIU email address as your user name.
4. Create a password.  (Passwords require 6 characters +1 number)
