Faculty and Staff - How do I setup an iPhone or iPad for PantherMail, Email, Contacts, and Calendars?
1. Choose the ‘Settings’ option on your device
2. Choose ‘Mail, Contacts, and Calendars’on the left
3. Choose “Add Mail Account’
4 . Choose Microsoft Exchange
5. Fill out the information as follows:
- Email: email@example.com
- Domain: eiu.edu
- Username: EIU NetID
- Password: EIU password
- Description: Describe the account..i.e. PantherMail, EIU Mail, Email
6. Enter server information - imap.eiu.edu
7. Select if you want to turn features on or off
8. Click ‘Save’ in the top right and your account is set up
9. Use the Mail app to check your email. Use the iCal app to manage your calendar. Use the Contacts app to manage your address book.
