I was born in a distinctive region of Ikorodu town, Lagos, Nigeria and grew up in a community where educational opportunities are prevalent. I attended one of the preeminent schools in my community. My career interest is highly in the field of Economics which dates back to my years in high school where I excelled tremendously in Mathematics, Economics, Commerce and Accounting. Following my graduation from high school, I gained admission to study Economics at the University of Ilorin, Kwara State Nigeria where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Economics with honors in upper division. I proceeded further for a one year national service in November 2011 to serve the Nation and was deployed to Niger State, Nigeria where I lectured Economic at ASACS International Staff College, Garam, Niger state. To further enhance my career, I gained admission to study abroad at Eastern Illinois University where I am currently earning my Masters degree in Economics. My experience at Eastern has deeply improved my skills, opportunity to work with people from diverse backgrounds, and exposure to new learning environments and cultures. I attended the Missouri Valley Conference organized by Eastern Illinois University where I showcased my talent and contributed my thoughts to the progression of the seminar and I will be one of the notable speakers in the next coming conference. In addition, I Volunteered as an International Student Ambassador in the spring 0f 2014. I approach all my work with discipline and focus as shown by my excellent academic performance. I am a quick learner, hard-working and ambitious person motivated by goal achievements and enjoy the challenge of demanding assignments. Beside my career prospect, I have a well-off experience in Microsoft Digital Literacy and productivity programs. I have tutored my students on how to dictate text and control computer program by voice without the use of keyboard and mouse (Windows Speech Recognition). In my spare time, I enjoy reading, singing, playing chess, scrabble, solving puzzles and logic problems.
