The Center for the Humanities aims to offer all we can to the students at EIU.  Currently, we offer two courses, HIC 2000G Introduction to the Humanities and EIU 4114G Advanced Studies in Matters of Culture. Click here for more information about these courses.

We also co-sponsor an internship with Fox Ridge State Park. This fun and active (and brand new) internship gives students the opportunity to acquire hands-on experience in programming at a state park. Help us shape the future of this program and learn more here.

Do you have any ideas about what the Center for the Humanities can do for students? Email us with ideas or questions at humanitiescenter@eiu.edu or stop by Doudna 1343.

Currently, the Lumpkin Family Foundation is looking for an intern to begin in January, 2016. The application is due by December 30, 2015. For more information see below, and click here for application instructions.
