Student Advisory Board

In order to provide an additional line of communication between Honors Students and the Dean of the Honors College, the Honors College Student Advisory Board (SAB) was established.

The SAB meets once per month with the Dean.  Meetings encompass issues for which student opinions, input, and advice are desired.  The SAB also functions as a conduit by which policies of the Honors College may be further disseminated to the students, and it aids other groups, e.g., Association of Honors Students, in having their concerns shared with the Dean.

Students chosen to serve on the SAB do so for a period of one year, but are eligible for one additional year of re-appointment.  Two students of at least sophomore standing, selected from the SAB, also participate on the Honors Council.

Upon approval from the Honors Council early in the fall semester of 2012, the student members will be announced.
