See the new sites and sounds, experience new traditions and relive great memories at Homecoming 2011. Former members of the Panther Marching Band, Guard and Pink Panther Dance Team are invited to join current students for our Third Annual Fill the Field halftime show performance held in conjunction with Homecoming Weekend.
Get a jump start on the day's festivities with a complimentary continental breakfast, courtesy of the EIU Alumni Association. Family and friends are welcome.
Join us for our halftime show rehearsal. If you plan to participate in the Homecoming halftime show, it is essential that you plan to attend this rehearsal.
March in the Homecoming parade as an alumni member of the Panther Marching Band, Guard or Pink Panther Dance Team. Note: The parade route is approximately two miles long.
All colleges will be represented out of O'Brien Stadium. Faculty and staff from many departments will be present and available to visit with you. Tailgate attractions will include complimentary food, live music, kids' activities, EIU freebies and more!
EIU hosts UT Martin for the Homecoming football game. As a member of the EIU Alumni Marching Band, Alumni Guard, or Pink Panther Alumni Dance Team, your game ticket will be provided compliments of the EIU Alumni Association. Additional tickets will be $13 per person. Tickets will be mailed one week prior to the event.
During halftime, help us to "fill the field" by participating in the Homecoming halftime show featuring both current students and alumni. This year, alumni members of the EIU Cheer team will also perform.

Halftime show chorography will be taught during the 8 a.m. rehearsal. Chorography for the Alumni Marching Band, Alumni Guard and Pink Panther Alumni Dance Team will be designed suitable for all age groups.
Alumni Band members please be sure to print the parade and halftime show sheet music and bring it with you on Saturday. Also, you will need to provide your own flip folder if needed.
To provide a uniform look on the field and to demonstrate our Panther pride, we ask each performing alumnus/alumnae to purchase our "official" performance t-shirt. The cost of the shirt is $10. You do not have to purchase a shirt again if you performed with the Alumni Marching Band, Alumni Guard or Pink Panther Alumni Dance team in 2009 or 2010.

If you do not have an instrument, you might consider borrowing one from your local high school. The student band has a few extra percussion instruments that can be reserved by contacting Alan Sullivan, director of athletic bands, at 217-581-6087 or rasullivan@eiu.edu no later than Friday, Oct. 7.
Flags will be provided to all participating Alumni Guard at the 8 am rehearsal.
