Deck the Halls - Office/Department Decorating Contest

Every office and/or department at EIU and throughout the community will have the opportunity to show its Homecoming spirit. We are encouraging all areas to decorate their offices in blue and gray to show their Greatness in Blue! More info

Service Projects

While students are naturally encouraged to participate in the week's various service options, there's no reason faculty and staff should feel excluded from these opportunities to set a positive example for EIU's student population. More info

2.5K Race/Walk

Show off your athleticism in this 1.5-mile road race sponsored by the Department of Recreation Administration. Awards are designated in a number of age groups and categories — including best full-body costume! More info

Homecoming Parade

Whether you're involved in building a float, marching in the band, or just watching from your front yard, the parade is another Homecoming tradition you don't want to miss! The parade will also be broadcast live and streamed online by WEIU-TV. More info.

Football TailGREAT and Alumni Tent City

Every college is invited to contribute to this tailgating event, which provides faculty and staff a chance to show off their culinary skills as well as visit with alumni and perhaps even prospective students as everybody gears up for the big game at O'Brien Stadium. More info
