Biological Sciences Alumni Festivities

Saturday, Oct. 22 — EIU Campus

As part of this year's Homecoming festivities, the Department of Biological Sciences will be hosting a series of alumni events and activities just for you and your fellow graduates. Please join us on campus Saturday, Oct. 22, to tour our building, experience campus traditions like the annual Homecoming parade and tailgate activities, and most of all to relive great memories!

Homecoming Parade - 9:30 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.

Biological Sciences Open House - 10 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
2049 Life Sciences Building

Join us for a meet-and-greet in the Life Sciences Building. You can tour the facilities, visit with current and retired faculty members, and catch up with fellow classmates. A limited number of discounted football game tickets will also be available for purchase by attendees.

Fishing at the Pond - 10:30 a.m. - Noon
Campus Pond, Southeast of O'Brien Stadium

Bring the family — kids included! — and enjoy fishing at the campus pond.

Alumni Tent City - 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
O'Brien Stadium Tailgate Area

All colleges will be represented at this annual tailgating event. Be sure to stop by the College of Sciences' tent for a complimentary lunch and free raffle. Other tailgate attractions will include kids' games, EIU giveaways and a performance by Jason and the Haymakers.

Homecoming Football Game - 1:30 p.m.
O'Brien Stadium

Come cheer on EIU as we take on UT Martin at O'Brien Stadium! Tickets may be purchased in person (EIU Athletic Ticket Office, Room 2530 in Lantz), by phone (217-581-2106) or online.

Biological Sciences Open House - 4 p.m. - 5 p.m.
2040 Life Sciences Building

If you missed it the first time, join us for our second meet-and-greet at the Life Sciences Building. This open house runs from 4 p.m. until 5 p.m. or immediately after the conclusion of the football game.
