History is argument and communication about the past. Both undergraduates and graduates should consider submitting strong essays, reviews, and research papers written for courses to journals, awards, and/or conferences. These activities and organizations will broaden your professional horizon, as well as add to the enjoyment of studying history at Eastern Illinois. Any faculty member will be glad to advise you about these opportunities.
