Healthy Cooking is a series of cooking classes throughout the year that feature different themes, cooking techniques, and aspects of proper nutrition.

This program combines both lecture and hands-on experience in the kitchen. No kitchen or nutrition experience is required and the best part is you get to eat what you make! Registration is required; please click on the date to sign up for the session you wish to attend.

Back to Campus Lunches: September 14th at 6 PM in Klehm Hall Room 2309

Are you already tired of packing your lunch or need new ideas for the fall semester? Come to this month’s Healthy Cooking 101 class to learn more creative lunch ideas! We will make delicious and healthy lunches that you won’t get tired of making OR eating. Together, we’ll explore the benefits packing a lunch has on our wallets and our health.

Meatless Meals: October 12th at 6 PM in Klehm Hall Room 2309

What are legumes, again? Come check out this month’s Healthy Cooking 101 class, which will be featuring easy, healthy and delicious vegetarian dishes. Regardless of if you’re a practicing vegetarian or a carnivore to your core, these recipes will not disappoint your taste buds! Together, we will learn about the benefits of meatless proteins and ways to sneak legumes into your diet.

Healthy Holiday Helpings: November 16th at 6 PM in Klehm Hall Room 2309

Do you wish you didn’t feel so sleepy or full after a holiday meal? Come to this month’s Healthy Cooking 101 class and try festive recipes that will leave you feeling jolly and satisfied this Holiday season. Once you learn how to create these delicious recipes, share them with your family over break so everyone can enjoy eating healthy!
