The Health Education Resource Center (HERC) is affiliated with Health Service and serves as a source of information on health related topics. The HERC provides students, faculty, and staff with a wide variety of health programs.

The HERC staff offers presentations, one-on-one consultations, and general resources and information for any of the programs listed below. Additionally, the HERC can help find other resources if our office does not have something that meets your needs.

Request a Program

Resident assistants, professors, registered student organizations, and others on campus have the opportunity to request presentations/programs through the HERC. A variety of options are available including: Alcohol and Substance Abuse Prevention, Bystander Intervention Training, Sexual Health, and more.

Consultation Visits

Students may request a consultation visit with one of our staff for various health needs. Some include but not limited to:

  • Sexual Health

 Suicide Prevention Training

Kognito is an interactive online training for both staff and students that educates how to approach concerning and serious situations involving other students. The training is FREE! The training has three sessions:

  • At Risk Students
  • LGBTQ Students
  • Veteran Students
