Mission Statement of the EIU Greek Community
The Eastern Illinois University Greek Community prides itself in tradition and academic excellence. We aim to further develop men and women in the areas of integrity, leadership, and high moral values in order to better ourselves and the community through service.

The All-Fraternity & Sorority GPA for Fall 2011 is .15 higher than the semester GPA for all EIU undergraduate students!

The fraternity & sorority community at Eastern Illinois University consists of 30 chapters, three governing council, Lambda Alpha Delta new member council, three honor societies, and over 1,500 undergraduate members.
Fraternity men and sorority women are involved in all aspects of campus life, and support for the Charleston community.
Congratulations to New Orleans Saints Head Coach Sean Payton on having his number retired by the EIU panthers football program on September 11th, 2010. Coach Payton is a 1986 graduate of Eastern, and a proud member of Sigma Chi Fraternity.

- Family Weekend is October 7, 8 & 9 - Make sure to get your tickets to see Chicago in concert.
- Homecoming is happening the week of October 17 to 23.
- Look for ticket information for the NPHC Step Show coming soon. The Step Show will take place during Homecoming Weekend at 7:00 pm on Saturday, Oct. 22nd.
