Catalog Description

Dr. Anna Cromwell, assistant professor of violin, serves as the graduate coordinator in the Department of Music. The graduate program offers a Master of Arts in Music with concentrations in conducting, performance and composition, and a concentration in music education (online).

Dr. Cromwell earned both her M.M. and D.M.A. under Sally O'Reilly at the University of Minnesota where she was a Dahl Fellowship recipient. She studied at Rice University under Kathleen Winkler, and graduated summa cum laude from Vanderbilt University where she was a student of Christian Teal. 

Admission to the graduate program in music and online music education requires an application to the Graduate School as well as an additional application to the Department of Music. Please contact Dr. Cromwell or visit the program's website for program admission criteria.
