Dr. Jaimee Hartentstein, assistant professor of family and consumer sciences, is the current coordinator of graduate study for the graduate program in family and consumer sciences. The graduate program offers the Master of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences, as well as an online cohort for practicing teachers.

Dr. Hartenstein’s teaching and research interests focus on divorce and child custody;
communication in the family following divorce or separation; and experiences of students in family science and the incorporation of portfolios in higher education. Dr. Hartenstein received her Ph.D. in Human Ecology from Kansas State University in 2014.
