Dr. Mukti Upadhyay, professor of economics, is the current coordinator of graduate study for the graduate program in economics. The graduate program offers the Master of Arts in Economics. Dr. Upadhyay
received his doctorate from Johns Hopkins University in 1995. His interests lie in:
- The areas of total productivity growth and its determinants globally.
- Fiscal policy interaction with rural-urban migration in developing countries.
- Regional integration in Asia, Africa and Latin America.
- Macroeconomic and political economy aspects of development.
