Dr. Melanie Burns, Professor, is the coordinator of graduate study for the Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics program.
Dr. Burns frequently teaches Evaluation in Family and Consumer Sciences online (FCS 5470), Nutrition in the Life Cycle (FCS 5153), Nutrition and the Addicted Person (FCS 4753), and Nutrition for the Older Person (FCS 5151).
Dr. Burns earned a BS and MS from Eastern Illinois University in Home Economics: Dietetics Option. She earned her PhD in Human Resource Education from the University of Illinois in 1999.
Admission to the Master of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics Graduate Program requires:
• an application to The Graduate School
• a verification statement verifying completion of your DPD coursework
• and a match with Eastern Illinois University’s Dietetic Internship through D&D Digital.
• and a match with Eastern Illinois University through D&D Digital.
