Catalog Description: Counseling or College Student Affairs
Dr. Richard Roberts, professor of counseling and student development and department chair, currently serves as the coordinator for the graduate programs in school and clinical counseling and college student affairs. The graduate programs offer a Master of Science in School or Clinical Counseling and a Master of Science in College Student Affairs.
Dr. Roberts’ research interests include counseling ethics, treatment planning and Native American issues. He received his doctorate from the State University of Texas in 1991.
Admission to the graduate program in counseling or college student affairs requires an application to the Graduate School as well as an additional application to the Department of Counseling and Student Development.
