Dr. Jeffrey Laursen, associate professor of biological sciences, currently serves as coordinator of graduate study. The graduate program offers a Master of Science in Biological Sciences.

Dr. Laursen ’s research interests are in parasitology and animal diseases. He is currently studying the relationships of snails and their trematode parasites, and the interactions of environmental stressors on host/parasite relationships. He received his doctorate from the University of Minnesota in 1993.
