Food Service Personnel will be supervised by the Residential Coordinator, Assistant or designee. 

SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES 

Plan nutritious menus within guidelines of any medically prescribed diet.

Purchase the required food supplies.

Prepare and serve 16 nutritionally balanced meals per day.

Clean kitchen and dining room after each meal.

Maintain all kitchen equipment and work areas per standards set forth by the Department of Public Health. 

Adhere to established budget.

Interact with consumers in a positive and productive manner.

Assist residents with evacuation and/or self-protection during times of natural disaster.

Communicate pertinent consumer interactions or observation to the treatment team.

Establish and maintain positive and professional working relationships with internal staff, external service providers and other state and county agencies.

Engage in appropriate professional development through continuing education, membership in professional organizations and licensure as eligible.

As requested participate in nonclinical activities such as committee work, quality improvement teams, performance improvement and grant initiatives. Other duties as assigned.

Must have HS diploma or GED. Must be able to pass background & reference cheeks.  MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK WEEKENDS.  3 hours Saturday, 3 hours Sunday; 6 hours per week.  Position starts out at $8.40 an hour.
