Carla Honselman's Vita

Dr Honselman is a licensed, registered dietitian and a licensed nursing home administrator.  She has work experience in the areas of clinical, foodservice and administrative dietetics, nutrition for the elderly, hospice, and weight management.  Working as the owner and consultant of Lifespan Consulting Services in central Illinois allowed her to gain invaluable experience while working with a variety of clients in varied settings. Her current position of Assistant Professor in Dietetics in the School of Family and Consumer Sciences at Eastern Illinois University provides an opportunity to share these experiences with students in the undergraduate and graduate programs. 

Dr Honselman's office hours for this semester are from 8:00 to 8:50, 10:15 to 10:50, 12:40 to 1:15 on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  She is also in the office on Mondays and Wednesdays if students want to drop by to see her or she is available by appointment.  Please contact her at cshonselman@eiu.edu for an appointment.
