Join the Fun!!

The School of Family and Consumer Sciences at Eastern Illinois University is officially 100 years old!  We will be marking the occasion with a special celebration in conjunction with EIU’s Homecoming the week of October 22-25, 2014.

Tentative Schedule of Events 

Wednesday, Oct. 22, 2014

Service Project 1 – Join with FCS faculty, staff, alumni and student organizations as we participate in a community service activity.  (To Be Announced)

Thursday, Oct. 23, 2014

Service Project 2 – Join with FCS faculty, staff, alumni and student  organizations as we participate in a community service activity. (To Be Announced)

Friday, Oct. 24, 2014

Service Project 3 – Join with FCS faculty, staff, alumni and student organizations as we participate in a community service activity.  (To Be Announced)

 

Alumni Open House Reception – 4 pm - 6 p.m. - Klehm Hall, Room 1418

 

Homecoming Pep Rally - 7 pm - 9 pm - McAfee Gym-South

Saturday, Oct. 25, 2014

Homecoming Parade – 9 a.m.

 

Tailgating/Alumni Tent City – 11:00 a.m. – adjacent to O’Brien Field; Visit with friends as you walk through Tent City. This annual tradition features food, entertainment and giveaways…all free!

 

Football – EIU Vs. Tennessee State – 1 p.m. – O’Brien Field
