Transfer Students
Transfer Admission Requirements
Taken directly from Transfer Admissions:
“Eastern Illinois University accepts college level courses from any accredited college or university as college credit. Remedial, developmental, or orientational courses are NOT accepted. Hours and courses transfer as credit towards graduation. Credit for courses in which a “D” was earned will transfer as long as the overall GPA from that institution is at least a “C” average.”
Upon entering the FCS: Dietetics program, evaluation of transfer credit will determine how the courses will be placed in the individual’s curriculum.
If you already have a degree from a 4 year university, graduate, or doctoral institution, consider performing a transcript review. In a transcript review, a member of our faculty will compare Eastern’srequirements for classes to what you have already taken. If the class transfers appropriately, it will prevent you from having to retake these classes.
Having a transcript review performed before admission to Eastern will ensure that you are aware of the classes you will need to take when you are admitted.
If you would like to have a transcript review, complete the form linked below, and send it to the address specified.
