Campus Citizens Emergency Response Team
(C CERT)
Eastern Illinois University has develop an emergency response group of individual who have association with the University by ether being a current student - faculty – staff, or have are retired for the University. Under the new Campus Emergency Operation Plan the Campus Citizens Emergency Response Team (C CERT) has several roles that may be filled.
Requirement for a prospective member to become a C CERT member:
- Affiliation with Eastern Illinois University (Current faculty/staff member, Student or Retired Employee)
- Eastern’s E number
- Attend the CERT training on campus or another community’s CERT program
- Pass a background check
- Be appointed by the selection committee
