Thesis in Rhetoric and Composition
The Components of a Prospectus for Rhetoric and Composition (at least 1000 words, accompanied by a select bibliography):
- A clear statement of the goals of the project, including pertinent background about the area of inquiry.
- An explanation of the research methodology (e.g., case study, empirical analysis, rhetorical analysis, ethnographic study) and a description of the style to be used for documenting sources and presenting data and results.
- A preliminary bibliography of theoretical sources and existing research on the topic.
