Parley Ann Boswell teaches American literature from the Colonial period through early twentieth century, and film studies courses. She has a special interest in American culture, and has published on popular literature from the Colonial period through twenty-first-century Hollywood, including Reel Rituals (1999) and Edith Wharton on Film (2007). Her forthcoming book, Pregnancy in Film and Literature, will be published in 2014.
