Suzie Park’s areas of teaching and research interest include 18th-century literature and British Romanticism, the novel, poetry, sentimental culture, and information culture. Her articles have appeared in journals including Literature Compass, Eighteenth Century: Theory and Interpretation and European Romantic Review. She has been an NEH Fellow and a Mellon Fellow. Her book project, titled Compulsory Narration: Resisting the Demand for Depth in an Age of Information, 1750-1850, is currently under review. Park is the President of the Phi Beta Kappa Association of East Central Illinois (inducted into Phi Beta Kappa at Duke University).
