The supplementary classroom-based component of the course involves weekly postings to D2L, three meetings with other interns, and assigned readings on topics such as organizational culture, enculturation, effective workplace writing practices, collaboration, and technology. At the end of the internship, you will construct a portfolio of projects completed for your internship.
Students may seek their own (full-time or part-time, paid or unpaid) internships, or they may opt to be placed into an internship by the Internship Coordinator. Prerequisites: ENG 2760 or 3005 and permission of Internship Coordinator. ENG 4275 may be repeated once.
