Windsor Etiquette Day.  Activities and lessons focused on improving manners and etiquette – collaboration between Windsor Elementary K-6 teachers and students and two different sections of EIU Block I ELE pre-service teachers
 
Neoga Middle School Social Science History Research.  Community history research project – collaboration between Neoga 6th graders and EIU Block I ELE pre-service teachers
 
Integrated Reading Day.  Trade-book based activities focusing on reading skills –  collaboration between Paxton Clara Peterson Elementary 2nd grade teachers and students EIU Block I ELE pre-service teachers

Pre-Battle of the Books.  Motivational event for 4th and 5th grade participants in the Battle of the Books program for Williams and Riddle Elementary Schools in Mattoon, IL.
 
Okaw Valley Elementary Fine Arts Day at EIU.  Fine arts integration with reading and language arts – collaboration between Okaw Valley Elementary, Dept of Kinesiology, Dept of Theater Arts, Booth Library, WEIU, and Dept of ELE pre-service teachers
