We are currently accepting applications for the 2011-2012 cohort, which includes teaching full-time in the 2011-2012 school year. The application deadline is April 30, 2011. Internships must be secured by May 31, 2011.
Note
To be eligible for the 2011-2012 program, candidates must pass both state tests (Basic Skills and Appropriate Content Area). The last date to take these tests is April 16, 2011.
Candidates applying for the program must provide evidence of having passed two tests. The first is the Illinois Basic Skills Test, and the second is the applicable content-area test corresponding to the intended content teaching area. Information about test sites, dates, and study guides for tests are available at www.icts.nesinc.com.
