Inspired Connections

The EIU Dancers is a Club and Company, sponsored by the Kinesiology and Sports Studies Department, the Theatre Arts Department, and the DanceLife Center.  The group was founded in 1981 and is  dedicated to furthering the understanding and appreciation of dance on Eastern's campus and the surrounding community.  The EIU Dancers dance repertoire varies from  modern dance, ballet, jazz, tap, hip hop, and character pieces. Many of the dancers are given the opportunity to perform for smaller Eastern functions and the area's public schools when invited.
