Applying to take State Examinations

 

Students must successfully pass the required state examination (Test 186 - Principal Test; Test 187 - Superintendent's Test; 096 or Test 300 - Basic Skills Test or the new Test of Academic Proficiency [TAP], Test 400) before applying to complete their Practicum (EDL 5890) or their Field Experience (EDL 6910) course. 

Students must also have the results before logging any hours or become officially enrolled in the course.

Students should register to take the Paper-Based Test.
