When Max gets blown off course during a snowstorm and tries to make his way home, his adventure begins. This creative storyline features Nutcracker soldiers, caroling worms, dancing poinsettias, mischievous mice and an evil Rat King with epic battle scene. This captivating and magical tale of adventure, friendship and love is a wonderful opportunity to bring families together and start a new holiday tradition. The Russian National Ballet Theatre was founded in Moscow during the transitional period of Perestroika in the late 1980s, when many dancers were exercising their new-found creative freedom by starting vibrant companies dedicated not only to the timeless tradition of classical Russian Ballet but to invigorate this tradition as they began to accept new developments in dance. Today, the Russian National Ballet Theatre is its own institution, with over 50 dancers of singular instruction and vast experience.
