BACKSTAGE AT DOUDNA
Backstage at Doudna is a cooperative production between WEIU TV and the Doudna Fine Arts Center. Hosted by Dwight Vaught, Backstage will showcase five different performances from the 2011-2012 season at Doudna.
The program includes interviews with the performers, behind-the-scenes footage of planning and preparation as well as performance clips. Backstage will give viewers an insight not only into the performance, but also a look at what it takes to make a stage production come to life before a live audience.

WELCOME
Welcome to the 2011-2012 Season of performances and exhibitions featuring professional touring artists, EIU Music Department, EIU Theatre Arts Department, EIU Art Department and Humanities Center schedules. As you prepare to join us, we wanted to let you know about a few updates we’ve made over the past few months:
- Our new Box Office hours will be 11:30 am to 6 pm Tuesday through Thursday, and 11:30 am to 2:30 pm Friday. We will be closed Mondays and part of Friday afternoons unless there is an event on those days.
- We’ve mixed things up a bit in locations and times of events. The EIU Theatre Arts Department productions have moved to a Wednesday – Sunday run, finishing with Sunday afternoon performances. Evening Theatre Department performances will start at 7:30 unless otherwise noted. Some Touring Artist events may have limited seating so pay close attention to locations in the brochure and buy your tickets early; we’re confident several events will sell out.
- Our online ticketing portal is still free, with no surcharges or convenience fees added. Add free parking and excellent performance venues to the list of perks and the Doudna Fine Arts Center is your choice for quality cultural offerings.
