"After graduating from Eastern Illinois University’s Graduate Program in 2012, I quickly found a position with ARAMARK Education as Assistant Foodservice Director for nine schools in Southern Illinois. My duties as Assistant Foodservice Director include menu planning, nutrition analysis, food production control, budgeting, food safety and sanitation, and most importantly, ensuring students are receiving adequate nutrition in their school meals every day. The majority of these duties were familiar to me even in the beginning of my time with ARAMARK thanks to my dietetic internship and coursework experiences. My experiences at Eastern have also allowed me to bring many new ideas to the table. Although the internship and graduate program were strenuous, I will be forever grateful for the experiences provided."
