The Determined Marketer

Matt Forst might seem quiet and shy behind his desk, but once I started asking him questions about himself, his confidence and determination poured out. Matt chose the distinct words of driven, determined, and goal oriented to describe himself. He knows what he wants and will do anything to reach his goals. As an outgoing junior, he enjoys helping others reach their own goals and takes pride in setting examples for others to follow.

Matt’s decision to become a Communication Studies major might not have come easy, but he finally realized where he belongs because of his love for marketing. With the help of his polished communication and marketing skills, Matt plans to land an internship with a public relations/marketing agency soon.

When Matt is not getting lost in his books, you can find him pumping weights at the recreational center where he enjoys working out and learning about nutrition with his Sigma Nu brothers. He has also served as the lead and scholarship chair of his fraternity and is involved in as many intramurals as his busy schedule will allow. With his ease and positive attitude, Matt can handle whatever is thrown his way.

Eastern has helped Matt to develop his passion for marketing and public relations and he is on the right track to achieving his goal to become a spokesperson for a sports team or nutritional company.
