Faculty member named to Hall of Fame

Mike Bradd

An Eastern Illinois University faculty member has been named to the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame for his work as a broadcaster.

Mike Bradd, Associate Professor of Communication Studies, will be inducted into the IBCA Hall of Fame in April of 2011.  Bradd is being recognized for his career broadcasting Eastern Illinois University basketball games on the radio.

Bradd is in his 23rd year as the radio play-by-play announcer for Eastern Illinois basketball.  He has also broadcast EIU football for the past 11 years.  Bradd joined the EIU Communication Studies faculty in 1990.
