CMN major's video selected for Graduate Showcase

A video produced by a graduate student in Communication Studies was recently selected for a Graduate Showcase Series at Eastern Illinois University.

Catherine Bocke (Quincy, Illinois) produced the video, which was an overview of her thesis project in public relations.  Catherine is studying how the media's presentation of crisis severity and past organizational crises affects the type of crisis communication response.  The faculty mentor for the project was Dr. Matt Gill.

The video was one of six projects screened at the E.I.U. College of Arts and Humanities Graduate Showcase Series on March 26th.  After the video was shown, Catherine and the other master's candidates who presented answered questions from the audience.

The video will be made available on the Eastern Illinois University Graduate School's You Tube page for other students to watch to help them with their research.
