Graduate Students to present at statewide conference

Four graduate students from the Eastern Illinois University Department of Communication Studies have been selected to present at the 2011 Illinois Speech and Theatre Association Conference.

Students who will be presenting are:

  • Daniel Douglas:  "Articulating Confidence in the Basic Course"
  • Saunnie Knotts:  "Incorporating Service Learning into the Basic Course"
  • Pauline Matthey:  "Teaching Speech with an Accent: The Challenges Only Aliens Understand"
  • Jessica McDonald:  "The Art of Style: Teaching to all Styles of Learners"

 The conference will be held Friday, September 23rd in Normal.
