Department of Communication Studies regularly receive awards from the university for the quality of their work, as well as being awarded grants to support research and faculty development activities.

Distinguished Faculty Award

A university-wide award, selected by students, and given to a faculty member for distinguished academic excellence in teaching.

Achievement & Contribution Awards

An award given to a faculty member for outstanding, service, research, and/or teaching.  Normally awarded to the top 10% of the faculty each year.  Faculty can only be recognized once every two years.
