Students, you need to start preparing for commencement long before the big day arrives, so be sure to check this page for details on applying for graduation, ordering caps and gowns, picking up guest tickets, and more.
Graduation announcement purchases can be made online at Herff-Jones.
WEIU, a service of Eastern Illinois University, produces a professional, multi-camera production of each graduation ceremony. Copies can be ordered the day of the ceremony or by downloading the form below. Copies will be mailed 4 to 6 weeks after graduation. Past graduation ceremony DVD's are available as well and are listed on the downloadable form.
The cost is $25 each and $10 each for any additional copies. DVDs can also be purchased at the WEIU online store at www.weiu.net.
You must rent a cap and gown from our preferred vendor, Herff Jones. Renting your cap and gown indicates that you plan to participate in commencement ceremonies.
To place your cap and gown rental order, please go to https://collegegrad.herffjones.com/. Be sure to choose "Eastern Illinois University" as your school. The online order site closes on Sunday, Nov. 16, at 11:59 p.m. A late charge of $20 will be added to any orders placed after the site closes.
