Description:

The Exemplary Supervisor Award recognizes an off campus supervisor who has made an exceptional commitment to guide, support, and mentor an EIU graduate student in the internship experience. The Department of Communication Disorders & Sciences relies on the cooperation and expertise of practicing professionals to complete our graduate students’ clinical training in educational and medical settings. Second year graduate students who are enrolled in medical and education internship experiences are eligible to complete the nomination.

Recipient:        Certified Supervisor in speech-language pathology

Nominator:    Second year graduate student in Communication Disorders & Sciences who is enrolled                      in internship. A CDS graduate student can nominate a medical and/or internship supervisor.

Semester Awarded: Spring

Deadline:        January 15
