Established in 1948, the Kate Booker Stapp Scholarship was created to assist female students who have been widowed (or whose husbands has been incapacitated) and who have at least one child under the age of 18 living at home, in obtaining an education. Applicants should be teaching or planning to teach. Majors eligible include those majoring in an area of education and/or pursuing teacher certification. Applications can be found here. Students are required to return all textbooks from dropped/withdrawn courses within two business days of the drop/withdrawal to avoid charges. All textbooks from dropped or withdrawn courses that are not returned to the Textbook Rental Service within the designated time frame are subject to charges of $20 per book. These charges are non-refundable.

For your convenience after business hours, please utilize our exterior book drop located under the awning at the northeast corner of our facility. Please visit our website for information about this and other important items.

The GTC is looking for three student workers.

The Gregg Technology Center (GTC) and its staff provide the faculty, staff and students at Eastern with creative, innovative and effective uses of established and emerging technologies in a lab environment. The GTC is seeking three students to be hired for the Fall 2012 semester. Those interested may apply from April 1 to April 18. Interviews will start April 19 and run until April 27. Applications are now being accepted for the Florence Kaplan Foundation Scholarship which is awarded to a female student who is committed to her Jewish faith. The recipient must demonstrate that she is engaged in her faith community, has a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and will be attending Eastern Illinois University full-time (12 semester hours). Preference is given to applicants with financial need. The scholarship is payable in the fall semester. Applications are located at the Neal Welcome Center, 860 W.
