The University Foundations Advisory Committee is recruiting instructors for Fall 2013 to teach University Foundations, Easternís team-taught freshman seminar. Interested individuals must have at least a masterís degree and must be employed full-time for Eastern. Graduate students are also encouraged to apply to teach the course for practicum hours. All sections are team-taught with either two faculty/staff members or a faculty/staff member and a peer leader. In team-taught sections, faculty receive 1.5 CUs; ASPs receive a 12.5 percent stipend for 4.5 months; civil service and A&Ps without academic rank receive $1,518.75 paid over 4.5 months. A&P with academic rank teach the course in-load. New instructors must attend the training workshop May 8 and 9, 2013.

Eastern is seeking applications and nominations for a highly motivated and experienced administrator to serve as director of Facilities Planning and Management. The director reports directly to the vice president for business affairs, and has primary responsibility for the supervision, coordination and administration of programs and activities related to the universityís physical facilities.
