Increase your Campus Visibility
Gain exposure to more students and potential candidates at Eastern through a variety of methods provided to you by Career Services. Benefit from the “buzz” among the campus community about your organization.
Participate in On-Campus Recruiting
Each academic year, employers choose to recruit students through the ease and convenience of campus interviews. We serve all EIU students and provide flexible, customizable schedules with online management capabilities. Find out more about the campus interviewing program.
Offer Information Sessions
Employers conducting campus interviews may choose to schedule an Information Session prior to their interviewing date. Typically these sessions are held the evening before the interviews. This is a great opportunity to education the candidates about your organization and answer questions in an informal environment. To schedule an Information Session contact Debbie Endsley, Recruitment Coordinator at 217-581-7461 or by email to: email@example.com.
Attend Career Fairs
Connect with hundreds of potential candidates for full time, internship and seasonal opportunities through EIU's Career Fairs. You may showcase your organization and meet with students face to face to increase their interest in your company. See the list of upcoming career fairs.

Get involved with a Student Organization
Connect with student organizations that are related to your industry or majors that you wish to recruit. These organizations are often searching for employer representatives to meet with their groups to discuss industry trends and career options in their fields. See list of Registered Student Organizations at EIU. For assistance in connecting with these groups contact Debbie Endsley, Recruitment Coordinator at 217-581-7461 or by email to: email@example.com.
Sponsor an Extern
Help students gain a better understanding of their chosen career field by sponsoring a one-day job shadow. They will typically spend their time touring the workplace, attending meetings, shadowing a specific staff member and gaining valuable networking contacts for future internship/job opportunities. Students are unpaid and responsible for their own transportation. Sign up now.
